I had the pleasure of meeting Anne at a workshop on women’s health sponsored by the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. I have known Anne for many, many years as a trusted colleague and dear friend. I first met Anne when we served at the Department of Labor when I was head of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). Anne is all about ability despite having a physical disability on which many would focus and not do much else. Anne is a formidable, accomplished woman who I have had the pleasure of knowing since her days at Harvard. She is one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever known.
